Your role at Clorox:
The Site Materials and Scheduling Management (MSM) Leader at Clorox's Aberdeen manufacturing facility is responsible for managing and optimizing materials planning, production scheduling, and working capital. This role involves developing and supporting the MSM team, resolving material and scheduling issues, and ensuring seamless integration of SAP upgrades into site operations. Additionally, the MSM Leader contributes to broader supply chain optimization efforts across the network, driving efficiency and operational excellence.
In this role, you will:
Generate materials near-, mid-, and long-term materials purchase orders in support of plant production operations
Define and maintain the sites MRP Parameters for all materials (lead-times, MOQ, inventory min/max, rounding values); Update as needed
Execute site materials inventory policy, including setting targets, monitoring and reporting
Serve as the owner of the sites Materials Loss and Variance BU reporting requirements
Identify & address recurring material constraints; Elevate for support as needed
Identify requirements to ensure long-term materials supply at the assigned manufacturing location (e.g., suppliers’ line capacity, mold capacity, etc.). Engage BU MSM and BU Procurement as needed.
Oversee plant scheduling operations; Support assigned schedulers in optimizing plant scheduling operations
Support company SAP upgrade efforts; oversee the training of all assigned personnel
Share plant specific needs with suppliers and BU MSM representatives on a fixed cadence or as needed
Confirm availability for all incoming PO’s
Set and monitor supplier’s operational performance metrics across service and quality. Incorporate input from Mfg., QA, Prod Serv. Escalate critical / recurring supplier quality or service issues to Procurement and GQA
Leverage Site Level Execution Agreements (SLEA) with key suppliers to ensure delivery of performance expectations (e.g., OTIF, inventory limits, etc.); Elevate issues and/or concerns to BU MSM and/or BU Procurement representatives
Meet regularly with key suppliers to review forecast and evaluate performance; Ensure key suppliers are aware of site specific needs supporting
Provide direct supervision and leadership to any assigned MSM team members at the manufacturing location. This includes all administrative actions for these team members (time management, performance, etc.)
Maintain open communication with plant personnel. Integrate into plant daily operations and Tiered reporting.
Seek plant input when setting Master data parameters.
Oversee plant LMDM operations
Serve as the initial contact for MSM on site-level issue resolution, escalate to BU procurement and BU MSM as needed
Report material or scheduling concerns to plant leadership; Strive to optimize plant efficiencies (OEE and Profitability)
Monitor scheduling and material related performance metrics across the site (Working capital; Attainment; Adherence; OEE loss to Material availability; Material losses/variances)
Ensure the site is adhering to current or newly developed MSM processes and supporting overall supply chain improvement efforts
Conduct training with assigned personnel as needed
Identify losses and participate in materials and scheduling (MSM) improvement opportunities
What we look for:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a supply chain planning or manufacturing role, preferably in CPG / FMCG industries
Demonstrated increasing responsibility and a track record of success
Knowledge of, and experience with forecasting and planning tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Kinaxis - Rapid Response, etc.)
Knowledge and experience with materials management and SAP S/4HANA is preferred
Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling experience is a plus
Knowledge of supply chain planning principles and interactions between production planning, demand planning and material planning
Ability to react quickly to material / supplier-related issues and challenges
Ability to execute root cause analysis and put sustainable controls in place
Ability to provide effective leadership, coaching and support to assigned personnel
Ability to provide clear guidance and direction to executional teams
Highly analytical mindset with fact-based, data-driven problem solving
Flexibility manifesting in ability to manage and prioritize planned and unplanned work
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong leadership skills with ability to lead and manage a team when needed

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $69,600 - $127,400
–Zone B: $63,800 - $116,800
–Zone C: $58,000 - $106,100
