Your role at Clorox:

The Fulfillment Manager will have overall responsibility for Distribution Center (DC) performance and fulfillment within the Order To Cash process. By demonstrating your operational expertise, encouraging positive relationships, and using data-driven insights, you will develop strategies to improve operations, increase supply chain efficiencies, and achieve financial and strategic goals for Clorox. Responsible for maintaining key performance indicators including forecast and budget management. Responsible for handling key relationships with 3PLs.

In this role, you will:

  • Handle Supply Chain metrics for assigned regional Distribution Center(s) These DCs are responsible for supporting 100% of total Clorox US sales.

  • Maintain acceptable key metrics performance around: safety, sustainability, space utilization, timely shipping/receiving (OTD), over-short and damage claims (OSD), inventory accuracy and order fill results. Develop and lead continuous improvement initiatives against these metrics

  • Deliver financial performance results for the DCs. Responsible for building, forecasting, and delivering on a multi-million dollar budget (>$10M). Develop and lead cost savings initiatives supporting department goals

  • Responsible for timely invoice processing and approvals for various suppliers up to $250K

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and internal control requirements maintained, including ERP (ex. SAP) system controls – which includes being present and conducting quarterly and annual cycle counts

  • Handle and lead successful 3PL (3rd Party Logistics) relationships. Apply supplier relationship management and influence skills.

  • Work cross functionally to minimize service disruptions. Ensure successful distribution operations are maintained – developing corrective actions when gaps are present with robust plans to prevent repeated gaps.

  • Some areas of cross functional interaction include customer supply chain managers, supply chain leads, regional transportation managers, customer service, corporate quality, supply planning, contract manufacturing, corporate real estate and finance.

  • Participate and provide Fulfillment subject matter expertise on Supply Chain projects as needed. Projects vary widely in scope to include facility start-ups, quality issues, product customizations, IT system changes / improvements, special customer requests, etc.

What we look for:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution,

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, or Supply Chain is highly preferred

  • 5+ years-experience in DC Fulfillment, Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, and/or General Operations

  • Experience working with 3rd Party Logistics providers and/or service vendors

  • Management experience in Logistics; Fulfillment, Transportation Management, and/or Customer Service

  • Experience with the SAP system

  • Demonstrated success in leading and collaborating with multiple functions across the supply chain

  • Demonstrated success at developing and implementing supply chain improvements

  • Experience developing and handling a financial operating budget

  • Strong ability to complete daily operations and deliver strategic work

  • Strong ability to handle and influence up and down the organization

  • Strong ability to anticipate opportunities for change and is experienced at pushing the status quo

  • Strong ability to monitor, analyze, and develop plans with data gathering tools - report out on performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

  • Strong ability to work with ambiguity, imperfect information, and in a multifaceted environment

  • Must be self-motivated, have excellent communications skills and attention to detail

  • Must be able to handle talent including shown success at mentoring for development and results

  • Proficient with MS Office and ERP (SAP) systems

  • Ability to travel 20-25%.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $104,100 - $199,100

–Zone B: $95,500 - $183,300

–Zone C: $86,800 - $166,600

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
