Your role at Clorox:

This role is an Individual Contributor Subject Matter Expert (SME) position responsible for establishing standards and policies for the Business Unit's consolidated material scheduling and management teams, as well as providing guidance on operational practices.

In this role, you will:

Process & Ways of Working Definition

  • Define the process and policy guidelines for Standard rates, review, and qualification (e.g., machine rates, target runtime OEE for planning purposes). Establishing and reviewing a production wheel, including the definition of frozen windows, production sequencing, and loading, and scheduling planned downtime. Materials management policy, covering planning horizons for deliveries and orders, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and materials acceptance/rejection criteria

  • Standardize performance management and KPIs (Schedule attainment, Supplier compliance (on time/on specs/ on quantity) rate, Unplanned schedule changes vs. target, Downtime due to materials issues (quality/lack of supply), etc.

  • Define process for Issue resolution – Escalation process and standard re-planning procedure

  • Standardize ways of working with other teams (BU Planning, Plant Production, Quality, & Logistics, Center Procurement, etc.)

  • Actively identify and address areas of improvement in terms of processes, tools, and capabilities.

Training & Coaching

  • Prepare training materials, and provide guidance to embed key concepts, tools, and techniques for the new team

  • Establish mechanism for sharing best practice, and problem-solving (i.e., Community of Practice)

  • Undertake capability development & deployment of process and tools, including digital tools

Capturing Industry Insights

  • Stay up-to-date on best-in-class methods and technology (software, tools, automation) being adopted by peers and recommend appropriate advancements for Clorox

What we look for:

  • 10+ years of progressive supply chain management experience spanning across multiple disciplines (e.g., Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning, Logistics) with a demonstrated track record of success; with hands-on experience in production scheduling, material planning, or related areas within manufacturing industries

  • 3+ year experience in supply chain consulting preferred

  • BS/BA Degree with specialization in supply chain management, Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred

  • Experience in leading process excellence initiatives with focus on improved decision making, speed of execution, and adoption of digital tools

  • Able to lead with influence, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative work environment.

  • Experience working closely with different departments such as production, procurement, logistics, and quality assurance

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot issues, resolve conflicts, and make quick decisions

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $121,900 - $240,100

–Zone B: $111,700 - $220,100

–Zone C: $101,600 - $200,100

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
