The Order Management Specialist provides top tier customer service to their assigned accounts through proactive management of orders from receipt through delivery, and by partnering with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to ensure best in class results.
Provide top tier customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. Manage orders in a timely and accurate manner adhering to the customer’s MABD in a collect environment.
Partner with team and other functions to identify ways to improve efficiency of the order to cash process.
Partner with Supply Chain to resolve issues, determine root cause and identify ways to improve to ensure top performance with the customer and proactively reduce deductions.
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with customer and internal stakeholders.
Initiate and maintain regular dialogue with stakeholders (Sales, Supply Chain, DC Ops, Traffic Analyst, Customer Transportation and Planning)
This role may require overtime, weekend or holiday scheduling.
Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
2 years of experience in a customer service environment.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Bachelor's degree from from an accredited institution
4 years of experience in a customer service environment
Experience in OTC environment and/or like experience in the consumer packaged goods industry .
Prior order management or related supply chain/fulfillment experience
High proficiency with computer systems and software (SAP, Microsoft Office, Retail Link system experience)
Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems
Team player who helps create a results focused and motivating team environment
Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills
Solid analytical skills
Good interpersonal skills and solid communication skills (verbal and written)
Accountability, with a strong desire to commit, be held accountable and be rewarded for delivering results
High School Degree or Equivalent
