We're looking for a superstar to lead the Burt's Bees brand, including personal care as well as cosmetics. This is one of a kind job in the cosmetics industry with high growth, amazing brand, and great retailer support, on trend with natural ingredients, no animal testing, and a mission to make the world a better place. Cosmetics / Personal Care experience is extremely important. The incumbent will develop highly effective marketing programs based on a deep consumer understanding. It is responsible for leading the strategy, growth idea, and innovation plan, as well as the execution of Brand Engagement plan to maximize the brand's long-term potential.

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement Brand Engagement plans from concept to execution, ensuring consistency with brand strategy and growth idea

Oversee innovation pipeline (working with the CDU)

Manage marketing budget

Contribute to corporate initiatives (ship/share reporting, long range planning, sales and operations planning, 3D integration, forecasts, corporate reporting, etc.)

Serve as primary conduit with the US CDU organization to enable coordination and best practices.

Position requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience, in positions of increasing responsibility, with an understanding of the Canadian cosmetic / personal care market.

Tier 1 CPG experience strongly preferred

New product launch experience is an asset.

Ability to drive all elements of the marketing mix, including: packaging development, advertising development (TV, print, radio. digital), media buying, marketing plan development / execution (public relations, consumer promotion, shopper marketing, agency management, new product development, etc)

Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required

University degree, MBA preferred, but not required
