The ideal candidate brings strong analytical abilities in order to provide the Loblaws & Shoppers Drug Mart customer teams relevant insights to develop market sales reviews and growth opportunities. They understand customer strategies and Clorox strategies and are able to provide solutions that incorporate both. As a strong team player, this candidate will support all team members in order to effectively understand and manage team priorities. Identify new opportunities and go-to-market strategies through customized reports while leveraging macro-economic, consumer, and retail insights. Regularly collaborate with Sales Stakeholders, Clorox Neighborhoods and Customer Category Management Teams to develop and execute business plans and strategies to grow Clorox categories and our brands within the accounts.

Create, manage and track key business metrics including: weekly LCL & SDM POS and business reporting (Precima), daily LCL/SDM volume tracker, Nielsen category/item performance, price audits, promotional tracking and new item tracking
Actively pursue "real time" Clorox and competitive insights at retail to identify AMPS strategies, as well as assist NAM's and Sr. KAM's in identifying business opportunities for assortment (eg. cross tabs/POG recommendations), merchandising, pricing and shelving
Responsible for providing diamond distribution, commercial innovation and business planning insights to the LCL/SDM customer teams on a regular basis
Assist in the development of account presentations and ensure new item detail is effectively completed and communicated to customer as required.
Support account team with adhoc business requirements and analytics as required
Minimum 2 years in a Sales Analyst capacity in the CPG industry related to selling relationships with National and/or Regional Accounts
Broad experience in category, brand, customer and shopper insight within North American markets, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry. Experience working with sales including channel development and merchandising preferred
Proficiency and experience working with Nielsen and /or other Retail/Market POS data systems and its integration into usable team insights
Candidate must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (with advanced excel (Vlook-up and Pivots) and Powerpoint skills)
Knowledge of Precima's Top Shelf (LCL & SDM) and Vendor Board (SDM) would be an asset
Knowledge of Cognos preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly developed analytical skills and presentation skills with the ability to make independent decisions that align with the needs of the business
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and balance priorities
Must have comfort and ability to present to key stakeholders and external customers
Demonstrated ability to be a strong team player
