Your role at Clorox:

Our Plant Operations Leader will lead day-to-day packaging operations, formulation process & PDC while improve productivity and efficiency. Coordinate and supervise R&P and PDC Operations, manufacturing/packaging & process program for the Site. Apply standard and advanced principles to evaluate root cause, develop and implement permanent solutions. Lead root cause analysis for manufacturing deviation and criteria for continuous improvements. Comply with Clorox and regulatory requirements related to safety, security, health and environment and internal control policies.

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain an accurate daily production and maintenance schedules to assure the changeover and downtime monitory.

  • Responsible for daily reporting of areas performance score card (KPI, Graphics).

  • Develop and implement plans to support annual goals and objectives.

  • Maintain complete and accurate daily production, materials coordination & maintenance schedules and monitors changeovers & downtime, keeping it at a minimum

  • Ensure the production execution and material inbound & outbound plans execution, complying with OEE and SA objectives.

  • Ensure that Safety Plan objectives are in compliance in order to contribute in Zero Accident.

  • Supervise operation personnel including work planning, guidance, coaching, performance evaluation, and recommend timely discipline when applicable.

  • Responsible for the team development through coordination of safety, quality, production, housekeeping trainings, among others.

  • Apply standard and advanced principles to evaluate root cause, develop and implement permanent solutions. Plans, schedules and leads project assignments requiring independent judgment in the evaluation, selection and adaptation of various engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.

  • Participate/lead cost projects development and/or implementation in order to reduce the Plant costs.

  • Evaluate for compliance and approve Purchase Requisitions less than $20K for the Site.

What we look for:

  • 5 or more years or equivalent experience in a manufacturing/packaging environment

  • Bilingual (Spanish & English)

  • Good presentation skills (oral & written)

  • Proven leadership capabilities to drive change and challenge the current status

  • Initiative and decision-making skills

  • Capable of working in a flexible environment

  • Planning and Organization skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administracion or BS Science. Eng
