Electro Creative Workshop, the internal agency at The Clorox Company, is looking for an experienced senior designer to join our team. The Senior Designer is a hands-on creative maker for print, packaging, graphic design and experiential projects. Working under the direction of an ACD, Design, you will work on a variety of project types for Burt's Bees.

Creative maker on packaging, print collateral, experiential events, and other projects across several brands.
Develop ideas, concepts, original designs, and other creative solutions as needed on projects.
Receive creative briefs and reviews for clarity prior to kick-offs.
Support the ACD Design to translate the strategic intent of briefs into design direction for the team.
Build and maintain relationships with the brand studio members and serve as a key voice on assigned brands for print & packaging design creative.
Process and organizational
Manage and deliver work with schedule and budget support from project and account managers.
Contribute ideas and recommendations for ongoing organizational improvements (i.e. process and tools).
Maintain a connection to the external creative industry and stay up to date on current trends in commercial creativity.
Keeps a constant eye on emerging talent to bring into the agency (vendors, artists, production companies, individual designers, etc.).
Years and Types of Experience
8 or more years of experience in design with emphasis on packaging design.
Agency experience required
Packaging experience includes developing and designing graphics and product forms. Experience designing for the shelf experience, full-line redesigns, and club/palette presentations.
Print experience goes beyond packaging to include in-store displays, point of purchase, etc.
Understanding of print production process including designing for a variety of packaging formats and substrates.
Experience and knowledge in developing brand standards and identity systems
Work in the consumer packaged goods categories required
Skills and Abilities
Expert designer with a portfolio of best in class work.
An expert eye for color and typography
Expert knowledge of Adobe CS (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
Expert creative presentation skills
A passion for creativity and design
Tapped in to design trends, design movements and the design community
BFA or MFA in Design or equivalent certificate
In-house and/or consumer packaged goods experience is highly preferred
Some experience managing and mentoring junior designers
Experience with multi-channel campaigns (print + digital + content + experiential)
Creative operations experience in a medium to large organization
Digital experience with websites, emails, social media
International experience a plus
A human-centered approach to design philosophy, design-thinking experience
Art direction of product photoshoots in studio and on location
Design for integrated campaigns across print, digital, and experiential.
Digital production and workflow. Knowledge of Sketch and Invision.
