Senior Manager Information Security Operations

Position Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Engage our People as Business Owners: Develop individual capabilities to promote growth.

  • Drive the Business: Support technology tools, systems, capabilities, processes, and financials to enable delivery and drive business results across the enterprise.

  • Technology/Business Planning and Development: Support execution of technology improvements that drive capacity within the enterprise.

  • Build Capability to Drive Growth and Eliminate Waste: Deploy tools, processes, and resources to support the enterprise.

  • Provide leadership in the delivery of Security protection with a focus on customer service that ensures true value to the business and adoption of security best practices.

Position requirements

Years and Type of Experience:

  • 10 + years in IT or professional services experience in IT delivery.

  • 7 + years formal people management and/or service management experience

  • Experience working with various project and portfolio management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Office including Project, Sharepoint, and Visio, ServiceNow, PPM, Agile/Scrum methods,/waterfall)

  • Evidence of successfully managing diverse teams (e.g., outsourced, multi-vendor, or geographically distributed).

Skills and Abilities

  • Good understanding of the lifecycle of cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, and methods of exploitation

  • Ability to understand and resolve issues related to Internet Proxies, NGAV and other endpoint security technologies

  • An in depth understanding of Antivirus and Phishing techniques

  • An understanding of technologies such that candidate is capable of helping network, server, and application teams locate and resolve issues affecting operations and security

  • An understanding of Network Access Control (ForeScout experience a plus)

  • Ability to understand, create, manage, and document SSL VPNs

  • Experience with Checkpoint Firewalls, Carbon Black, Active Directory and a breadth of other security tools.

  • Background and knowledge of security concepts, such as defense-in-depth, least privilege, etc.

  • Good communication skills; writing and speaking.

Education Level/Degree:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related field (an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered

  • Security Certification, either CISSP, Security+, or SANS, a big plus
