Support & Delivery Change Management -- System Engineer IV

Support & Delivery Change Management is a non-dedicated project role and is responsible for supporting end to end ITIL Change Management for Clorox IT. Works to ensure that the component level changes proposed by the individual design areas form a coherent whole that most effectively meets the business need. These activities will inform the assessment of project business cases and will underpin planning, scheduling and scope definitions. In most cases, service support may actively participate in the build but may also leave that up to the solution designers. In this case, service support works across teams to understand key business drivers and enable the delivery of successful change and ensure solution aligns with Clorox IT application standards, guidelines, and principles. Support & Delivery Change Management is responsible for developing and executing organizational change strategy and enforcing change framework and governance. S/he will have a deep understanding and the ability to manage all change activity from planning to deployment and partner closely with engineering and business teams to continually improve process, achieve efficiencies, and deliver quality product on time.

Position Description

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for enforcing policy for the Support and Delivery IT Change Management governance process.

  • Responsible for identifying and achieving initial operational targets for the Support & Delivery Change Management Process.

  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of all data captured during the execution of the Support and Delivery IT Change Management governance process.

  • Responsible for Chairing the Change Advisory Board (CAB), Service Operations, Technical Review Meeting (TRM) and approving RFCs for permission to build and move to production, and all associated communications and meeting notes.

  • Performs various audits and documents results.

Position requirements

Years and Type of Experience:

  • 6-8+ years of experience in the IT industry or equivalent technical, design, architecture and/or operational management experience (e.g., engineering) or technical competence gained in a highly complex and varied technology environment.

  • 3-5+ years of experience in executing ITIL Change and Release Management processes/policies.

  • 3-5+ years of experience utilizing industry standard Change and Release software, such as ServiceNow.

Skills and Abilities

  • ServiceNow Platform (Istanbul and above)

  • Critical thinking and analysis skills

  • Setting and achieving metrics-driven targets (SLAs)

  • Detail oriented and creator of effective content for deliverables

  • Good time management and multi-tasking skills.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff


  • Experience in execution of driving day-to-day Change and Release Management operations

Education Level/Degree:

  • BS or BA Degree

  • ITIL Foundations certification is highly preferred
