eCommerce Sales Analyst, China - Burt's Bees Asia

Position summary.

We are looking for the person to develop and grow our eCommerce/Digital analytics branch at Clorox China. eCom Sales Analyst is to build and deliver analytics implementation for eCommerce and Digital insights to improve velocity, revenue and profit on businesses.

You will guides and builds data assets and statistical models to surface actionable insights. The role engages with the Marketing, Sales and Finance teams to define problem statements, design and operationalize the solutions.

This role requires solid analytics skills and communication ability, responsibilities include:

  • Managing eCommerce and Digital data; evaluate ecommerce/digital trends;

  • Employing statistical methods to answer business questions;

  • Measuring the key tactics of eCommerce and Digital Marketing

  • Communicating insights from quantitative analyses to technical and non-technical audiences

Key responsibilities:

Support Digital and eCom strategies and tactics:

  • Provide analytical support to eCommerce and Digital strategy development, including but not limiting to LRP and Annual Budget window

  • Drive significant business results by influencing key decisions through an analytics-based perspective, while integrating other consumer/market insights and a solid understanding of the broader business context. Formulates recommended actions, not simply results/data

  • Develops real-time reporting that informs digital and eCom strategies, planning and exectution.

Develop the eCom and digital analytics engine:

  • Build complex data sets from multiple data sources. Ensure data quality throughout all stages of acquisition and processing;

  • Conduct advanced statistical analysis to determine trends and significant data relationships

  • Leverage data visualization tools & techniques to deliver insights. Develop/ contribute to developing interactive, self-service Tableau dashboards for tracking purposes

  • Owns the development of data/analytics 3rd party contracts and agreements for the market(s)

Function Enable:

  • Implement best practices within Analytic Insights through standardization of methods, tools, and knowledge-sharing to maximize group efficiency and impact.

People Enable:

Champion Analytic Insights within the company and build strong cross-functional relationships.

Position requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Years and Type of Experience:

  • 3-5 years of working experience in Analytics with Bachelor degree; 3 years of experience with Master

  • 2-3 years of experience in eCom (Alibaba is a plus) and/or Digital Marketing

  • Skills and Abilities

  • Fluent in digital and eCom data (infrastructure, quality, validity)

  • Experience with digital analytics platforms/ methods

  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with hands-on experience of advanced modeling methods

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interpret data and modeling results, distill actionable insights and present them to stakeholders

  • Demonstrated quick learning capability

  • Written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Technical experience:

  • Expertise using Excel and Tableau

  • Experience using a statistical package (SAS, SPSS, S-Plus, R, Stata, Minitab, or JMP).

  • Experience with SQL and VBA, a plus

  • Education Level/Degree: Master Degree in Analytics or related discipline preferred
