Your role at Clorox:

Responsible for developing, deploying and leading the activation of Clorox Sales strategies that deliver financial objectives and superior in-store presence for all categories / brands sold in Hong Kong and Taiwan

The Assistant Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing an integrated sales plan, the AMPS objectives & priorities and the resources necessary to achieve the objectives, managing the Trade Fund within budget and serving as the customer voice for new initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  1. Responsible for category Sales Strategies and Planning, including:
  • Owns the sales planning process – integrating channel strategies into Clorox brand strategies; Develops the retail activation plans, category strategies, customer priorities, etc.

  • Develop and execute annual promotion plan according to brand strategies and channel strategies

  • Leading the development and prioritization of AMPS objectives, identifying AMPS execution opportunities and designing programs, providing the tools for GT salesman/key account managers and merchandisers to deliver the objectives

  • Providing input on preparing annual business review and top to top meeting for selective top customers (Park N Shop, Wellcome, HKTVMall), create category selling story align with Clorox’s strategies

  1. Responsible for Sales forecast and Trade Fund management within annual budget and managing various aspects as key sales supporting:
  • Responsible for Sales Input to LRP (long range plan)/annual Budget/Quarterly forecast by following company process

  • Responsible for the rolling forecast accuracy improvement, provide input in monthly S&OP process

  • Responsible for trade funds management and associated tracking or reports to ensure the Trade Fund spending within budget

  • Responsible for providing point of sales materials for different channels

  1. Analytics & Category Expertise
  • Collect and analyze market data from POS, Nielsen data and merchandising data to monitor the achievement of targets and recommend actions for improvement. Collect and analyze market intelligence to identify opportunities and provide recommendations.

  • Provide category insight to different channels

  • Evaluate promotion effectiveness of the campaigns with ROI and market share results

What we look for:

Skills and Abilities:

  • Analytics & data driven; can translate insights into action

  • Strong sales management skills including creating category selling stories, managing pricing plan and distribution.

  • Demonstrated excellence in managing promotion funds, drive effectiveness and efficiency

  • Strategic thinking

  • Strong category management knowledge to provide category insight to different channels

  • Result oriented

  • Proactive, accountable, self-motivated

  • Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and Nielsen IQ.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin is a must.

Minimum requirement:

  • Minimum 4 years of experiences in FMCG trade marketing with strong knowledge of local market and retail channels

  • Experience in manage Taiwan market (or another region besides Hong Kong) will be an advantage
