The Clorox Company Digital Media Manager in Oakland, California
The Digital Media Manager will support the development and management of the Brand Engagement -- Media function with a focus on building core competencies and future oriented capabilities. You will be responsible for continually evolving and driving the craft by driving innovation, streamlining and implementing processes, leading immersive trainings, and building systems/tools that enable Studio Teams to drive consumer engagement and deliver the marketing goals. You will proactively drive and scale learnings across the Marketing division and Brand Studio teams, ensuring consistency as well as customization of core practices.
This role requires an ability to influence and interact across different levels of technical, analytical, creative and business aspects, an entrepreneurial spirit, brand building know-how, strategic thinking, capability development and strong communication/written skills.

Lead and Build Capabilities for Digital Media:
Support and drive the capability agenda for Media innovation through discovery, exploration and iterative learning
Act as the Subject Matter Expert and create guiding practices for the Media team
Manage centralization of core competencies on business operations, including investments and scaled partnerships that drive competitive advantage
Proactively drive learnings across Studios and disciplines to ensure continuity and consistency of core practices
Embed and Operationalize Capabilities:
Embed & operationalize Media expertise, capabilities and methodologies in the Brand Studios
Identify relevant topics and organize learning sessions (industry hot topics, lessons learned, etc.)
Enable Brand Studio teams to embrace industry trends, best practices and participate in capability efforts
People Enablement & Community Partnership:
Evaluate potential vendors to fill gaps and drive insights & innovation
Oversight of Agency and Vendor management for capability area; remain connected, responsive, proactive with the external community
Years and Type of Experience:
At least 8 years of digital agency experience, platform (Google, Facebook, etc), or client side experience in programmatic strategy & buying or paid search marketing
Skills & Abilities:
Strongly familiarity with Programmatic, data management platforms (DMPs) and demand side platform (DSP) landscape
Proficiency in applying a range of data to media activation
Fluency of media fundamentals and insights across all channels
Proven ability to harness analytic skills, breeding high experimentation, and telling a story from the data
Dynamic leader with ability to motivate & develop others, communicate effectively & persuasively with others, and establish credibility with senior management
Excellent interpersonal skills with the expertise and professionalism that will earn respect and trust with internal team members and external vendors
Keen understanding of brand safety and ad quality standards
Understanding of the value of content, especially Owned, as fuel for the Digital Marketing ecosystem
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing or related field
CPG experience is a plus
Direct experience is setting up & managing campaigns with various audiences/placements
