Your role at Clorox:

In the role of a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Research and Development (R&D) Data & Digital Capabilities team, the primary responsibilities include leading Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) product data setup scoping sessions, conducting system training, and fostering business process enhancement. Collaboration with R&D personnel in product, process, and packaging development, alongside Supply Chain (SC) partners, is crucial for understanding and refining product workflows and ensuring product data optimal setup. The position offers the chance to spearhead automation for system security controls, product-related metrics, reports, and data quality checks. As well as leading system enhancements and ongoing continuous improvement.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross-functional discussions to scope Clorox R&D/SC projects (for new product and product changes) across multiple Clorox Business Units. Lead R&D and SC teams to ensure optimal, quality, and timely PLM setup.

  • Train PLM users on system functionality, business use cases, change management, and related business processes.Develop required training materials and job aids for multiple systems and processes.

  • Provide on-going PLM (and other R&D systems) user support, including system and processes. Participate in PLM issues monitoring rotation and MBOM exception process.

  • Lead system changes by identifying and reporting system issues and developing requirements for system enhancement.Workwith Enterprise Data and Technology (EDT) technical team to implement and test system changes.

  • Develop and execute system User Acceptance test cases.

  • Identifying missing processes. Lead new business processes development and enhancement, including required process documentation and user training.

  • Lead user adoption for new systems or/and system enhancements.

  • Work with DDC SMEs and management to understand and enhance system controls, product data quality checks, product metrics, and business/product reporting requirements.

  • Develop scripts and automation for security controls, product data checks, dashboards, and reports.

What we look for:

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S./M.S. or Ph.D. in an Engineering, Computer or Science Related Field.

  • 5-10 years of experience with a focus on consumer goods product data management capabilities, processes, systems and governance

  • Scripting and automation design & development experience (such as PowerBI, Alteryx, SQL, MS Azure,Python/R, or similar tools).

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively work in a collaborative environment with technical and business teams.

  • Demonstrated project planning and project management skills.

  • Ability to identify and champion new tools, processes, and technologies.

  • Ability to work independently and executemultiple projects efficiently within set deadlines.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of PLM system (such as Enovia, Arena PTC, Oracle, Siemens,etc.).

  • A strong understanding of Change Management and Change Control principles.

  • High level understanding of new product/package development process.

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $86,600 - $161,900

–Zone B: $79,400 - $148,400

–Zone C: $72,100 - $134,900

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
