Your role at Clorox:

A Sanitation Worker is responsible for the cleanliness of the facility; offices and plant manufacturing areas allowing for optimal cleanliness and overall productivity.

In this role, you will:

  • Clean offices, laboratories, restrooms, hallways, cafeterias, conference rooms, production areas and other areas within the Plant and facilities.

  • Clean windows, doors, ledges, baseboards, floors, walls, floor-wall junctions and air conditioning vent covers in all office areas, cafeterias and restrooms.

  • Adhere to daily worksheet and master cleaning schedule.

  • Assist management with other tasks as required.

  • Operate trash compactor machine and cardboard baler.

  • Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety policies and guidelines.

  • Carry out written instructions and fill out documentation of jobs performed.

What we look for:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in Manufacturing Sanitation.

  • Basic mathematical and counting skills.

  • Proficiency with basic computer skills.

  • Fluency in the English language.

  • Must be able to perform required repetitive lifting tasks associated with Warehouse environments. Supervisory Responsibility: None Work Environment: Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions in the plant. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Physical Demands: This position is very active and the employee frequently is required to stand/walk all day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Objects weighing 50 pounds or more must be accompanied by a second individual to avoid injury.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
