Job Overview/Summary

This position is responsible for leading consumer and market intelligence work for the Asia SBU across all Clorox brands and categories, approaching challenges with strong cultural, consumer, marketing and business acumen. Represents the voice of the Human Insights function (HI). Prioritizes, plans and executes learning efforts against top SBU needs. Ensures SBU business decisions are human centered and coordinates efforts with both Asia SBU business partners and International HI colleagues to efficiently drive SBU growth goals.

Key Responsibilities


  • Responsible for developing and delivering insights to enable business growth through primary, syndicated and existing research

  • Manages relationships with research vendor partners. Find new partners to work with as required by project objectives.

  • Independently prioritizes the work most likely to drive business objectives

  • Manages HI budget for SBU in coordination with Center

  • Single point of accountability for Studio Learning investments. Effectively translates top studio business needs into actionable learning investments.

  • Ensures the business has a complete view of the consumer, and that this view, along with market dynamics, is leveraged for business decisions.

  • Champions the development of fact-based strategies that provide deep and broad-based consumer and marketplace knowledge

  • Influences SBU strategy and research priorities.

Team and Capability Development

  • Build an effective HI organization: active integration of insights across insights verticals (consumer, analytics, syndicated) and partners in other SBUs (Canada, Latin America and AMEA)

  • Fully engage with cross-functional partners to establish a productive culture of engagement with insights and analysis

  • Participates in training and team building activities, community of practice

  • Participates in recruiting.

  • Implements best practices at the SBU level.
